Al Acitelli

Licensed Insurance Agent

I help seniors and those contemplating retirement who are:

    • Confused with their Medicare options
    • Worried about running out of money
    • Concerned with covering final expenses and providing for their family
    • Afraid of getting stuck in a nursing home.

I’m an independent agent and am not tied to any one company, carrier, or product so my advice is unbiased and customized to my client.

One of the best complements I’ve received from a client is that I’m “compulsively meticulous” in researching and compiling appropriate plans for my clients.

My personal opinion is that if a client cannot easily describe their retirement income plan in 20 seconds or less, then it is too complicated, and perhaps may not be appropriate or deliver what they expect.

I only work with safe-money solutions that are not at risk of market loss.  In my experience I believe that when one retires from work they should retire from risk. I’ve chosen not to offer products that have variable returns (meaning they can lose principal) or investments where there is risk of loss.

I’m a Michigan native licensed since 1990, graduated from Wayne State University and a successful business owner with hundreds of clients – even winning the Inc. 500 award for one of my businesses. I currently live in the Brighton area with my wife and have three daughters, a son, and six grandchildren.  Cooper the shih tzu is the latest addition to the family.
